There is NOTHING cheesy about Whigfield as can be seen from the official Sannie Carlson website:

She is a very intelligent and smart woman who just happens to be the front for a pop producer. IQ of 160, speaks 5 languages.
Does that sound "cheesy"?

Oh.
I never knew intelligence and cheesiness were so closely tied together. Now I know...and I don't like it.

It's the song, Tom. The song is cheesy. Lighten up.

I don't agree: it's high class pop music in the "Dancing Queen" mould. Popularity doesn't make it cheesy, nor does a strong simple melody and the fact that people like dancing to it.
I'm very "light" thanks, I just disagree about this being a cheesy song. It's no more cheesy than thousands of other popular songs are.
This is not a cheesy song to me. Now "Cotton Eye Joe": THAT is cheesy.
Tom.

Oh yes....cheesy disco time!!!
