This is my own idea based on the TV program "Come Dine With Me"

For those of you who've never watched it here's what happens. Over a period of a week and in turn, five amateur cooks each prepare and host a three course dinner for the others. After each meal they then award their host/hostess points out ten for their evening. The person with the most points at the end of the week wins £1000.

Now we don't have cash to throw away so this is just for fun.

On your own blog and under the heading "Come Dine With Me - Captain's Challenge" you must blog about your perfect dinner party. This should include:

* The names of four people you would like to invite (living or otherwise)

* Your menu (you can include recipes and pictures)

* A Description of your table setting and any theme you might have chosen for the dinner party

* A brief note as to why you think yours would be the winning night
